Before joining the club, wanted to try the free version. I'm trying out the free pp_joomlapraise (Verson 1.5.). I just installed Joomla 1.5 and have been just testing and playing around with different components/modules.

My question is this -- I made some changes to the css (I'm sticking with the 960) to make the menu and stuff on the left column less in width. The Template is great, but just wish it came with a User1 and User2 Module positions. I glanced at the Index.php and was wondering if I could either (A) place some code into the index.php template to have a User1 and User2 positions -- so can have 2 modules side by side at the top (before any other content) or (B) maybe move the User3 and User4 near the top and some how position it so it would/could be used as a User1 and User2.. Not sure how to do this and insert the right code. Dunce at work!

As you can see -- I haven't even changed the logo yet, but my site http://www.surftiva.com/business/?tp=1 (glancing at module positions).

PS: I'm using User3 for the top menu for now.... Looks fine in Firefox/Opera/Netscape...etc except not in IE 6.. Haven't checked higher.. Last, I also don't need a right column for modules.

The main and really only help (if possible) is to have a User1 & User2 or something that will enable me to put two modules side by side at the top/center - right above any other content.

Hopefully this made sense.
Appreciate any help given here..
Just hope there's a way to solve this.

Yes you are able to create a User1 and User2 position. Your initial suggestion is the way that I have done it by modifying the index.php and including <div> tags to arrange the positions of User1 and User2 where you would like it to appear. If you need any more help or confidence in guiding you to accomplish this task then just respond.

Yes :) Please help with not only what the exact code would be (that hopefully can just copy/paste) -- but where to place it into index.php.

Kyle, thanks!

Once last thing -- as you can see (http://www.surftiva.com/business/?tp=1) User2 doesn't line up right next to User1. Usually with most templates it's side by side ...... what can I do to move User2 a little more up and more center to line up?

 :x :(

Before I forget....
Good work on these...
will give the cms market review later this weekend.

np,
They line up for me in FF3, what browser are you seeing the misalignment in?
A CMS Market review would be most appreciated :)

You seem like a nice guy and I'm in a good mood so I made you a banner that might work a little better ;)
Hope you like, enjoy

Big Fat GRIN!!!!

Never expected that and it's a keeper. Thanks a great deal. Wish I could design, but lack creativity and not very artisitic.

It lined up fine this morning...

Well, don't want to inundate you or any good support group with questions.... I have everything correct and should be able to fix any issue in the future.

Will give you guys the A+ review tonight.
Regards,
-SG

PS: I was planning on resizing the banner I created today, but what you created I think is (obviously  ) better.

Thanx!
