I believe I am confused by your query. If you choose the option to "Not Send Notifications" via the Config->Panels->Email Notification Option screen. The notification should not be sent unless the user checks the box.

Is this not how your version is functioning?

I found your mod over the CMS Market, but after successfully purchasing and downloading it I realised that it is an outdated version (1.0). This came to my attention only after installing the mod and coming to the conclusion that it does not display the option on the task page below the comment area to chose whether or not to send the notification. The config page however shows the options and seems to work ok. I just don't get any response on the project page. As I tested the sending I received the email notification, but I don't yet know if that was just the task mailer doing its job regardless of your mod.

I was wondering if you could help me out in any way? Do you need any additional information?
